JCB secures GBP15M deal
Rocester, United KingdomJCB will supply 350 machines, including Loadall telehandlers, to plant hire company HE Services Group.
The GBP14 million (USD22.8 million ) deal consists of Loadalls, mini-excavators, 3CX backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders and tracked excavators, which will be supplied by JCB dealer Greenshields JCB.
HE Services, founded in 1972, is the UK's largest specialist excavator hire company with a fleet exceeding 2,000 items of plant that are for hire nationwide through 12 depots.
Ningbo Ruyi receives thanks for pink trucks
Hangzhou, ChinaNingbo Ruyi Joint Stock Co Ltd has received a thank-you letter and plaque for producing 12 pink pallet trucks for US materials handling company, Rapid Parts Inc.
The pink pallet trucks raised USD8,000 in a charity auction for well-known US breast cancer foundation Susan G Komen for the Cure.
Briggs wins Travis Perkins contract
Cannock, United KingdomBriggs Equipment has won a GBP5 million (USD8.16 million) contract to supply nearly 400 trucks and materials handling equipment to one of the UK's largest builders' merchants and home improvement retailers.
The flexible-hire contract includes Yale forklifts that will operate in eight of Travis Perkins' UK distribution centres, with the majority at its primary facility in Northampton.
Briggs and Travis Perkins have a long-standing relationship where the former has supplied a wide range of counterbalance and reach trucks and low-level order pickers to the retailer.
