Toyota improves existing trucks

Toyota Material Handling USA Inc now has three models of its AC electric pallet truck line and walkie rider available with a galvanised chassis option to protect vehicles in wet environments.
The models include the 8 Series AC electric walkie pallet truck, 8 Series end-control walkie rider and 7 Series electric walkie pallet truck.
Toyota Material Handling UK (TMHUK) demonstrated the BT Lifter Silent hand pallet at Westminster's Freight Solutions for the Olympic Games conference this month. TMHUK claims the truck operates at no more than 60dBA and is 20% quieter than a standard hand pallet truck.

Mitsubishi launches hardy trucks

Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has a new compact pedestrian power pallet truck series, specially designed for harsh conditions.
The water-resistant PREMIA ES design includes a sealed chassis, protecting against water, dirt, dust and other particles. The truck's electronic system also features waterproof components.
