Manitou adds compact telehandler
Las Vegas, NV, United States

Manitou North America has debuted a super-compact Gehl RS4-14 telehandler at the World of Concrete exhibition. The machine is just under 60 in. (150 cm) wide and 75 in. (190 cm) tall and is the most compact model in the Gehl line-up. It boasts a maximum lift capacity of 4,400 lb. (2,000 kg), lift height of 14.25 ft. (4.3 m) and outreach of 9 feet (2.7 m). The Gehl RS4-14 telescopic handler has four-wheel drive, three steering modes and a compact turning radius, so it can work on uneven terrain and in confined spaces.
The machine is described as easy to operate, and the two-speed hydrostatic transmission with gear change on the JSM (Joystick Switch and Move) provides flexibility and precision.

MonarchFx partners with Vanguard
Raleigh, NC, United States

MonarchFx has partnered with Vanguard Software, an internationally recognised leader of supply chain planning software solutions.
Together, MonarchFx and Vanguard have configured the Distributed Inventory Flow Forecasting (DIFF) model for eCommerce. DIFF is a unique value-added technology available to interested MonarchFx sellers and which is customised for individual sellers. Features include an initial allocation of inventories (at SKU levels); ongoing demand forecasting models that are based on state-of-the-art algorithms with user inputs on promos, flash sales, new products, sales lifts, and more; and replenishment advisory schedules for sellers when SKUs reach thresholds and need to be replenished. DIFF optimises sellers' inventories based on flow, not traditional inventory storage practices. It also uses artificial intelligence for continuous improvement.
