Still shows off prototype
Hannover, GermanySTILL GmbH exhibited its FM-X autonomous reach truck prototype of at last month's Hannover Fair.
The truck can navigate autonomously through warehouses and react flexibly to changes in its environment. A research project supported by a German Government technology program created the prototype.
Flexi caters to European needs
Tipton, United KingdomFlexi Narrow Aisle Ltd has launched a new European version of its Flexi VNA AC truck.
The new version has been adapted to meet European market demands. Its chassis is narrower than the UK version, and its electric motor and hydraulic noise is reduced, making the truck "the quietest in its class".
The Flexi VNA AC was introduced in the UK in the 2010 northern autumn.
Clark introduces tow tractors

The tow tractors have regenerative braking; all-steel frames; automotive-style pedals; column and dash instrumentation; and fully-adjustable full-suspension seats.
Wesley launches Battery Mule
Scottdale, GA, United StatesWesley International has released a new Battery Mule mobile battery station.
It is a battery changing, charging, and watering station in one mobile unit. The battery station can be used with some forklifts equipped with battery slide-out systems, tow tractors, personnel carriers and AGVs.
CNH's New Holland unveils LM625 telehandler
Paris, FranceA CNH Global NV unit unveiled a compact LM625 telescopic material handler for the European market at the Intermat 2012 construction and real estate trade show in Paris.
The business unit is New Holland Kobelco Construction Machinery SpA, of San Mauro Torinese, Italy.
New Holland describes the 6 m (19.8 ft.) LM625 as an "all-access" telehandler that can perform in tight spaces. The turning radius is 3.4 m (11.2 ft.).
The LM625's single-lever controls, with proportional control of the boom's extension and retraction and auxiliary flow, enable an operator to position a load with maximum precision.
New Holland's construction equipment line has 80 models and 600 configurations in 12 product families. Compact telehandlers are one of the families.
Publicly traded equipment maker CNH, of Burr Ridge, Illinois, United States, is incorporated under Dutch laws and was created through a merger of New Holland NV and Case Corp. Holding company Fiat Industrial SpA, of Turin, Italy, owns a majority of CNH.
Paris-based Comexposium Group organised Intermat 2012, which was on 16-21 April in the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre.
Utilev forklifts now available in some US markets
Greenville, NC, United StatesThe Utilev UT25-30P range of diesel, liquefied petroleum gas and dual-fuel utility forklifts is now available in some US markets.
The forklifts' capacities are 5,000 lbs. and 6,000 lbs. (2,250 kg and 2,700 kg) at a 24-in. (0.6 m) load centre.
