Konecranes has appointed Rob Smith as president and CEO, effective 1 February 2020. CFO Teo Ottola, who also serves as deputy CEO, will be acting as the interim CEO until Smith starts in the position.
Smith joins Konecranes from AGCO Corporation, where his latest position has been senior vice president & general manager, Europe and Middle East. Prior to this, he worked in business leadership roles in TRW Automotive, Tyco Electronics and Bombardier Transportation, among others.
He is 54 years old and is a dual citizen of Germany and the United States.
Current president and CEO Panu Routila has left Konecranes Group after successfully leading the company through a major transition.

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. and Hyster-Yale Group have announced that Colin Wilson will retire as the operating company's president and chief executive officer, and as president and chief executive officer of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, effective 31 December 2019.
Wilson joined HYG in 1988 and has served as president and CEO since September 2014. During his tenure as CEO, he has overseen a deepening of the company's product portfolio through the acquisitions of Nuvera Fuel Cells, Bolzoni and Speedshield Distribution, as well as a broadening of the company's geographic and lower-cost product presence through the acquisition of a controlling interest in Zhejiang Maximal Forklift Co., Ltd.
Effective 1 January 2020, Rajiv K. Prasad will become president and CEO of HYG and president and CEO of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling.
Prasad has over 12 years of experience with HYG, most recently as chief product and operations officer, where he oversees all product development, supply chain, manufacturing strategy, digital solutions and IT activities. He also provides executive leadership for the Nuvera business and, from 1 July 2019, all of the forklift operations.

Magline has announced the addition of Karen Perry as customer service manager. Perry will oversee the customer service team, providing training and coaching programs designed to provide the company's customers with the highest level of support.
She will also be responsible for developing and growing the Magline authorised dealer sales channel, made up of over 375 global dealer partners.
Perry brings human resources, operations and marketing expertise to Magline and prides herself in her abilities to lead, coach and assist with process development and execution.
