Shoppa's Material Handling has appointed Jeff Moncrief in the role of corporate parts manager.
After retiring from the US Marines Corps in 2003, Moncrief attended Indiana
University and was awarded a Bachelor of General Studies degree in 2007. He then
received a Masters of Business Administration degree in 2009 from Ashford University in Iowa. He comes to Shoppa's from 19th Capital Group in Indianapolis, where he was corporate operations manager - parts and inventory.

EnerSys, has announced his retirement, effective October 1.
Long has been in the materials handling industry for over 44 years, beginning his career with Caterpillar in Peoria, IL. He was with Caterpillar and Mitsubishi Caterpillar for over 23 years, progressing through various sales and marketing-related positions.
Long moved to the battery industry when he joined GNB/Exide Technologies in 1997 as vice president of sales and service. Then in 2002, he joined EnerSys as vice president of sales and service Americas before being promoted to the president Americas position.
Long has been active in MHEDA and ITA as well as working with various forklift manufacturers and dealers throughout his career.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Cleveland State University.

Philadelphia Scientific, a leading international manufacturer of industrial battery management and maintenance equipment, has appointed Charles R. Snyder as vice president of sales and marketing. In this role, Snyder will oversee the company's sales, marketing, promotional and public relations activities in North, Central and South America.
For seven years prior to his appointment in sales and marketing, he led a Philadelphia Scientific team that provided new product development, manufacturing support and the delivery of custom business solutions.
Snyder earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University and a master's degree in systems engineering and an executive master's technology management degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Snyder is a resident of Newtown, PA.
