Reweighing is essential for material handling and LTL shippers to ensure accurate billing, compliance with regulations, avoiding penalties, optimizing costs, preventing overloading, and maintaining a trustworthy customer relationship.

Mobile weighing systems offer a flexible and convenient solution for reweighing applications by providing accurate weight measurements and several advantages compared to other weighing products. For instance, mobile weighing systems can be integrated as onboard scales for forklifts, allowing for accurate weight measurements and improved efficiency be eliminating additional steps in your logistics process.

Mobile Weighing Solutions that Deliver

RAVAS products allow material handlers and LTL shippers to capture the weight of the material as it moves through a warehouse rather than stopping at a stationary floor scale. As a result, transporters improve productivity and intra-logistics, reduce costs, and get a return on investment within months.

RAVAS manufactures and distributes mobile weighing scale systems ideally suited for material handling operations, logistics warehouses, and pharmaceutical and chemical production environments. RAVAS offers a product line that includes scale systems for hand pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklift trucks.

See how RAVAS can help you optimize your intralogistics and generate faster real-time data:

iForks

The product line for RAVAS scales for counterbalanced trucks includes iForks-32, iForks-32 XT, and iForks-52.

The iForks-32 is a high-accuracy, next-generation scale system. With only a 2.3-inch fork height and no external components on the fork shank, iForks-32 is similar in appearance to standard lift truck forks. This iForks model has been upgraded and includes an onboard indicator with a driver display that offers attractive new features, like standard Bluetooth connectivity and automatic tilt compensation to correct weight errors automatically when the mast tilts and the forks are not horizontal. Compact Lithium-ion battery packs power the iForks-32; there is no cabling, and installation can be completed in minutes.

iForks-32 XT is the extra thin version of the iForks-32 and features a reduced fork height of only 1.77 inches. With such a low profile, the iForks-32 makes picking up containers with low openings or damaged pallets easier. In the cross-section, the forks measure 1.77 inches x 6.1 inches. The XT offers the same digital features as the iForks-32, including automatically logging tip loads and overload events. iForks-32 XT is only available for FEM2 trucks (up to 5,000 lbs. lifting capacity).

RAVAS's next generation of forklift attachments is the iForks-52. Featuring improved accuracy and a user-friendly RAVAS touchscreen indicator, iForks-52 offers advanced scale functions for operators. It displays the tilt of the mast in its graphical display, making it easy to put the mast in a vertical position for the most accurate weighing. Also, it shows the load's weight distribution over the forks, advising the driver on how to avoid dangerous tips and side loads.

iCP

The RAVAS iCP is an intelligent carriage plate scale system.

As an integrated mobile weighing system, the iCP weighs pallet loads while being unloaded or transported with a forklift. The onboard indicator collects critical data and can be shared wirelessly with your WMS via Bluetooth or WiFi. The iCP scale system's rugged design features superior load sample linearity, enhanced serviceability, improved heel-to-toe/fork-to-fork accuracy, and various safety features.

With the iCP, lifting, weighing, counting, accumulating, and transporting are accomplished as a single efficient operation. This streamlines workflow by eliminating the time-consuming task of taking shipments to remote platform scales.

Increased productivity is only one advantage. The intelligent carriage plate scale system also allows for wireless connectivity so the operator can easily share critical shipping data within the logistics networks of warehouses and shipping environments.

Compatible with all ITA CLII, CLIII, and CLIV forklift carriages, the ICP requires no modification as it does not connect to the truck's hydraulic system. The multiple flexures have no moving parts and absorb the shock caused when transferring the weight to the load cells.

The ICP's unique single-load cell design provides superior load-sample linearity. It maintains 0.1% accuracy from heel to toe and fork to fork. Also, the iCP is OIML certified to ensure your legal-for-trade requirements are met.

Hydraulic Scales

The RAVAS RCS is a hydraulic scale designed for simple weight checks where high accuracy is not required. The system is suitable for use with rotators and/or clamps.

The RAVAS RCS Hy-Q-52 is a hydraulic weighing system that provides accurate weights. Equipped with an intuitive full-color touchscreen display with overload indication, the Hy-Q-52 is easy to install. In addition, it features a USB port and Bluetooth, so you can easily communicate with other devices and systems.

Data Management

To further improve logistics efficiency, the RAVAS WeightsApp can be used with compatible scale systems to track the gross and tare weights, product codes, date and time, and device or operator information. If an Android or iOS device has an integrated barcode scanner, the WeightsApp can be used to enter product IDs. Data is available to review in real-time and sent to any e-mail address as a CSV file.

RAVAS also offers additional data management software solutions to process and manage your data seamlessly. RAVAS Data Collector (RDC) collects real-time weighing data from your mobile weighing system on a PC. RAVAS Integration Software (RIS) is the best choice for full WiFi integration of your mobile weighing data into your WMS, TMS, or ERP system. The RAVAS Data Manager allows weights to be read at any point in the operation by providing a software interface between a WMS, TMS, or ERP system and the weighing system and monitors the performance of all connected trucks.
