Clark Material Handling Company has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Burwell Material Handling which will service the Virginia areas of Richmond and Chesapeake.

Clark says Burwell Material Handling is a strategic addition to bolster its dealer network in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Clark has been undertaking an expansion program across the US, and in May announced two new dealers had been added to its network - Orlando-based Mid Florida Material Handling (MFMH) and Western New York-headquartered Insley-McEntee Equipment Company.

Brandon Bullard, vice president of sales for Clark, says the business is “investing heavily in people, product, and technology”.

Burwell has also been undergoing expansion, this month announcing it had acquired WE Johnson Equipment Company which has locations in Miami and Fort Myers.

Burwell was founded almost 80 years ago and now has 18 branches across the US, from Montana to Illinois in the West and Midwest, Southern Ohio and Eastern Kentucky to West Virginia and Virginia in the Mid-South, and from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle in the South.

Burwell carries a wide range of materials handling equipment from leading brands including Bobcat, KION, Clark, Hyundai, Combilift, Taylor-Dunn, Genie and JLG.
