Best Line opens new materials handling facilityUS-based materials handling equipment sales and rental business, Best Line Equipment, has opened its 15th site and its second dedicated Best Line Material Handling (BLMH) facility at a new location in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
Best Line says this will help to build on its successful entry into the materials handling sector with the 2021 acquisition of Delaware Valley Lift Truck in the greater Philadelphia area.
The company states “strong customer demand and long-standing relationships in the capital region have driven the need for a dedicated facility to better support the industry’s needs”.
Adam Houseknecht, president of the Best Line companies adds: “This new location in Shippensburg is the result of years of serving the customer, surrounding communities, and employees”.
The Shippensburg branch will offer parts, service, sales, and support for materials handling equipment.
“This expansion is about staying committed to the relationships and performance that got us here, while we grow with employees who got us here,” Houseknecht added. “We’re excited for what this means for the future of our Material Handling division and the customers we’re here to serve.”
Meanwhile, Alabama-headquartered Burwell Material Handling - formerly C&B Material Handling - has acquired WE Johnson Equipment Company which has locations in Miami and Fort Myers.
Gary Work, owner of WE Johnson Equipment says: “After much careful thought and consideration, we made the decision to partner with Burwell Material Handling”.
“As my business partner and I look forward to our retirement, we take great comfort in knowing that our employees’ futures are secure and that they will be well taken care of under Burwell’s leadership,” Work adds.
