LogiMAT China 2025 has wrapped up with more than 20,100 people attending the event held in Shenzhen, China between April 24 and 26, which featured 300 exhibits across the 20,000sqm exhibition space.
Organisers EuroExpo say the event was attended by more than 622 international visitors from across 60 countries and regions, with the topics covering everything from robotics to automation and the latest in materials handling equipment.
Among the 30-plus professional forums, topics covered the challenges and opportunities faced by Chinese logistics companies venturing overseas and the transformative potential of embodied intelligence in robotics.

C&B Material Handling launches new brand
C&B Material Handling in the US has rebranded its business to Burwell Material Handling following the sale of its parent company’s agricultural equipment division in 2024.
Burwell was founded nearly 80 years ago and now has 18 branches across a wide geographic footprint that stretches from Montana to Illinois in the West and Midwest, Southern Ohio and Eastern Kentucky to West Virginia and Virginia in the Mid-South, and from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle in the South.
“As the pace of logistics accelerates, our customers need more than equipment — they need insight, integration, and a partner that helps them solve what’s in front of them while preparing them for what’s next,” says Kent Senf, president of Burwell Material Handling.
Burwell carries a wide range of materials handling equipment from leading brands including Bobcat, KION, Clark, Hyundai, Combilift, Taylor-Dunn, Genie and JLG.
Combilift celebrates decade of trainee program

Irish-headquartered Combilift is celebrating its 10-year Pioneering Engineering Traineeship program with the Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB), which has helped more than 150 trainees qualify.
The OEM Engineering Traineeship was launched in 2015 and of the 150 who have achieved QQI level 5 qualifications, more than 80% have found a job placement.
“We wanted to create more than just a training programme—we wanted to build a pathway into meaningful careers,” Combilift managing director, Martin McVicar, says. “This traineeship has delivered exactly that, time and time again.”
The nine-month program blends 26 weeks of classroom-based learning at Monaghan Institute with 12 weeks of hands-on work experience in Combilift.

Toyota launches connection platform
Toyota Material Handling Europe has launched Logiconomi Connections to the market, a strategic customer support program which connects logistics managers with a platform for tailored innovations.
The platform has been designed to help logistics managers “identify a broad range of solutions” which they may otherwise not know about, allowing them to stay on top of the latest developments in their sectors.
Per Fyrenius, senior vice president corporate development, explains the digital platform is a dedicated space where customers get access to a “carefully selected” group of technology companies and innovators who respond to the challenges identified in the process.
“Logiconomi Connections is not just a supplier network,” Per continues. “Collaboration drives the next wave of business growth. By facilitating these connections, we reinforce our position as an innovative partner, helping customers navigate their challenges with fresh, groundbreaking approaches.”
