Raymond wins virtual award
Greene, NY, United StatesPlant Engineering magazine has named the Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator a Product of the Year winner in the Productivity and Training category of its awards. The award recognises new products that are advancing innovation in the manufacturing industry, and the magazine chose winners across numerous categories.
The Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator is an advanced tool for lift truck operators that provides hands-on education to improve skills in a virtual environment without disrupting a warehouse's day-to-day operations. Multiple awards have recognised the impact the Simulator has on supporting continued operator learning.
"With nearly 2.4 million manufacturing jobs unfilled by 2028, the skills gap is a challenge we take very seriously, and the Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator is one tool that our customers have found to be extremely useful in remedying it," says Stacey Patch, business manager for the Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator, The Raymond Corporation. "The ability to learn and reinforce skills in a non-traditional way in this virtual environment has proven to be popular with operators."
