I am told that I need bearings for the gear box or that I need
to get the gear box overhauled.
BUT, nobody can read anywhere what is this MODEL.
If you can help me, to ID this Clark, please let me know asap.

Your lift appears to be a C model (C30- C40 etc) depending on the lifting capacity. The full model & serial # will be stamped into the top of the frame under the battery. Clean the entire area with a wire brush & you should find it. You will need these numbers to order any parts. Most parts are still available for these lifts.

Customers love technology- until they have to pay to fix it!
That's the Clark part number. Ask anyone involved in forklift repair and they should be able to get them.

Dear Mr. F,
Thanks very much for your help so far.
We currently could not find the ball bearing p/n for 12 rollers
or 853373. Is there a web site, parts dealer, or a distributor that you know about that can cross ref that number ?

Otherwise, we have to send the assembly back to Clark for refurb.

Thanks again.

it has a 3ee [12 volt] battery, I would do 'ID'ing it, better with [also] a picture looking at the top of the differential between the mast and the bulkhead/"operator kick plate".
when you say "gearbox" are you referring to the steering gearbox, or the travel-transmission?

"it's not rocket surgery"
That's older than a C500, more like a C20B or C25B or even older. I think the bearing part number is 851765. Those old Clarks also used a steerbox with bearing number 853373. One way to tell is 851765 has 11 rollers and 853373 has 12 rollers. Good luck with that.
