TRAVEL AND LIFT CUT OUT...LIGHTS ON DASH

i'm having trouble with a CAT C6000 with K25 engine. operator reports forklift won't lift or lower when interlock symbol is flashing on screen. does it once in the morning and works most of the day. then may do it again later. checked seat switch but OK. operator now reported both lift and lower out..and no travel. dash shows interlock flashing and neutral sign flashing as well. can't seem to pinpoint this issue. could this be a problem with the ECM?

hopefully you have this problem resolved by now?
but generally if the interlock and the neutral light flash both simultaneously?

All this is telling you is that both the lift and drive interlock is activated because the seat switch is not activated, all functions are disabled.

Don't just check the switch, you should check the wiring under the seat all the way to the connector on the right hand side under the hood. Look underneath the seat cushion and see the wires going to the switch, make sure they are plugged in and the harness is not chaffed in any way. There is an open circuit somewhere.

good luck

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
