caterpillar dont start

Hi I have 1 caterpillar Model P700-D Serial AT14e60188 the problem dont start, with engine 3.3L diesel and I just dont know anyhing about diesel engine any help would appreciated

Thats a Mitsubishi S4S. There is also an S6S (six cylinder version) used in the bigger Cats and Mitsu's. Great engines. See if you feel a click at the fuel shut off solenoid at the injector pump. Check voltage there. That coil opens the valve to let fuel in the pump. The S4S should have a hand primer pump on top of the fuel filter assembly. Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the bleeder plug on there a couple of turns. Pump. Is fuel **** out?
