Discussion:
How does the vacuum left by Toyota being taken out of the market in 2021 impact other OEM's?

It has been interesting talking to contacts throughout the industry. Some are quiet, some are quite vocal and other just don't know what to think. Some people thank (sarcastically) Toyota for allowing them to sell more of their (competitive) product.

I can tell you when I see posts on Link ed In for Toyota dealers selling other brands of forklift (they don't normally do that, very rare) it says this is not going to be fixed in this calendar year or even next. 2023 at the earliest??

What say you?

Fact of the week
Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
