Discussion:
Pedestrian crossing in gravel lot.

Hello,

Our warehouse lot has a holding area for commercial drivers who are waiting for their trailer to be filled. This is a gravel lot. Because of the remote location of our plant, many drivers have no cell service and tend to leave their truck and approach the guard gate to inquire about the status of their trailer. To do this they have to cross the flow of traffic.

To minimize safety risks we are looking for ways to ensure pedestrian safety on our warehouse lot. Because it is a gravel lot, we cannot paint crosswalks. Do y'all have any ideas on what we could do?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe make a policy that all drivers need to have a hi visibility safety vest, I've had customers who had signs like that directly as you pull on the property. You could also add some traffic cones with signs that say forklift traffic
hope this is of some help
