I'm going to look at a C500Y40 for sale. I am being told it will only lift half way then stops. I also just found out the mast cylinder is leaking. I am assuming it is low on hydraulic fluid and there is not enough fluid to fill the cylinder to raise it fully. In my past experiences a hydraulic pump either works or is does not. So I am thinking the problem is not a pump. Am I right? What should I look for when I go to look at it? Also I can not find any specs on this model. What type of trans will it have? Thanks
