The next step is to check for battery positive on those same 2 wires.
The safest way to check would be to disconnect the battery, then measure the ohms from the plug a terminals to both sides of the traction fuse.
If both wires make it to both sides of the traction fuse, then the problem gets tougher. If they only make it to one side of the fuse, then it's the fuse.
