Hi Paddyb

My name is Simon Docherty and I am the Standards Manager for the largest Lift Truck Accrediting Body in the UK. We have produced and have been marketing for some time a publication which I believe would solve your questions. The publication is titled "Lift Truck Safety Awareness for Managers and Supervisors" It does exactly what it says on the tin. UK Health and Safety Laws make it clear that those who Manage or Supervise lift truck operators or operations must have received adequate training in that field. It covers there responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work act and gives them an insight into operating practices etc. The course is between 6 and 7 hours long and provides a trainers guide and Power Point presentation for use by the Qualified Lift Truck Instructor.

Come back to me if you want to look into it further
