Hi, Iv got a Linde H40D 394 Series, it usually engine revs will increase when going up, down or tilting the mast. The other month the machine would only move little bit and a code would go off and then you had to shut off couple of times then it would move again then it would stop right there and not move so I had to do that about 30 times till i got to a place in my shop that's out if the way. So now it it will start right up, the mast will go up and down and tilt but the engine doesn't not rev up and then we couldn't move it as the accelerator pedal was also doing nothing either it can move the pedal and the engine stay at idle. we have changed the joystick the you push to forward to reverse that made the code to go off so that is good.
We have changed the crankshaft position sensor thinking that's is the issue but still no reving. it was hard to find the right sensor for that i still think I haven't got the right one yet buts close.
We just now changed the Potentiometer and the gear on the inside and the gear on the outside of the foot pedal box. Still nothing the engine stays at idle no rev of the engine. Step on the gas pedal and does nothing.
So does anybody else have any ideas what it can be
anything will work. I will change anything to get this going.
Thanks
James and I'm located in Houston Texas

Check your starter ring gear
If it has any wear it will throw a code and will not rev ,remove
the speed aguisition sensor or the RPM sensor and take a screwdriver and look at the ring
Gear turn the engine through the hole and inspect ring gear when replacing the RPM sensor push all the way down to touch the gear
then pull up about 1/4 inch and
tighten down
Also if this is a dual pedal unit take your foot a pull up a little on either pedal and start while holding pedal up if it revs then you will have to rebuild the pedal assy
what is your pilot pressure ?????
what laptop software do I need to plug in and we calibrated the throttle position sensor
is it the linde diagnostics tool for canbox
There are no codes going off on the screen on the lift
Most likely the throttle position sensor, try unbloting the sensor from the truck and operating it with your hand. Turn the ignition on and see if it will work, if not turn ignition off advance the arm on the sensor slightly and turn ignition back on, keep trying this in different positions. If you do get it to work the truck may need calibrating with laptop once the sensor is back on. I had one do this the other week.
