Materials handling solutions company Crown has launched its new lightweight WJ 50 Series pedestrian pallet truck with the 1.2T capacity model weighing 159.5kg.

The 1.5T payload capacity electric pallet jack weighs in at 162.5kg. 

The head length for the series is 370mm and the turning radius is 1.319m.

Crown says the compact design and manoeuvrability of the WJ 50 Series makes it particularly suitable for wholesale and retail application as well as truck transportation and kerbside deliveries.

“With the WJ 50 Series, we offer a powerful alternative to manually operated pallet trucks,” Crown’s marketing product manager Christian Peter says.

“It combines robustness, manoeuvrability, and ergonomics and enables operators to work more efficiently and achieve more in less time.”

The WJ Series has been designed so it can be manoeuvred with one hand which Crown says guarantees optimal load handling in confined spaces and it is powered by a V-Force 48V, lithium-ion battery.
