Discussion:
Forklift Brands (HangCha vs Jebbsen and Jessen MHE) and Battery Question

Hey everybody, so I am planning to buy a 3.0 ton forklift, its primary usage is going to be for loading and stacking 800kg jumbo bags from containers in the loading area to storage. It is relatively close, I think the farthest point is 60m. We use propane forklifts; however found that gas and maintenance (oil, filter, etc) is expensive and want to look for an alternative, so we decided on trying electric. We narrowed it down to 2 brands, MHE 3.0 ton 80V/410Ah vs Hangcha 80V/420Ah, 80V/560Ah, 80V/608Ah. The Hangcha seller recommended me either the 420Ah or the smaller 210Ah, as he said that higher Ah batteries will not make the forklift last longer, as in 1 charge will not last longer than the other, however,r it will make it more responsive and will draw more power. Is this true? I always figured that higher Ah means more capacity, though I suppose it will be heavier? Are those brands any good as well? Any help would be appreciated. 1 shift lasts for 7 hours, ideally, the forklift would not need to be charged periodically, but if that's the case, then should be fine

If your going to get Chinese look at EP lithium ion they are the onky Chinese brand I would recommend. Stay away from both BYD and Hancha both aren't very good

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
