Cargotec launches new reach stacker

Cargotec has added the Kalmar DRF420-450L, which is suitable for terminals with medium capacity, to its reach stacker range.
Cargotec vice president for reach stackers Mikael Persson says the new machine meets the needs of new customers that do not have the operational requirements that are offered with current models.
"The new model has an excellent level of total cost of ownership. It has low operating costs especially regarding energy consumption and maintenance costs," Persson adds.

Jungheinrich introduces counterbalance trucks

Jungheinrich has introduced the new 3-Series counterbalance forklifts that feature the same hydrostatic drive technology as its 4-Series range.
Jungheinrich claims that unlike other forklifts with hydrostatic drive currently on the market, its hydrostatic drive components have been specifically designed for forklift use.
Powered by Volkswagen engines, the new 3-Series is promoted as offering "class-leading fuel efficiency, productivity, safety and reliability".

Hyster launches new electric forklifts

Hyster Europe has extended its JXN range to include 2.2, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 tonne electric counterbalance forklifts for indoor and outdoor operation.
The company claims the new JXN forklifts move more loads while using less energy than its competitors.
David Rowell, Hyster European operations manager, says the forklifts "maintain powerful performance over a full shift with travel speeds up to 21km/h (13mph) and have energy efficiencies that exceed the industry average".
The new models are available in the Advance and Advance+ configurations, the latter designed for intensive, high productivity applications with long runs and high lifts.
