Hyster updated trucks
Surrey, United Kingdom Hyster Europe has launched an updated 8 to 16 T capacity lift truck. The latest heavy-duty models provide optimal visibility, strength and reliability, making handling and transportation easier than ever.
"The Hyster H8-16XM range now has a completely new mast and carriage, giving fast attachment exchange as well as optimum visibility of the forks, the attachment and the load," says Chris van de Werdt, product strategy manager - big trucks, Hyster Europe.
The new mast design is reported to offer added strength, and the intelligent design has increased the residual capacity on each truck by at least 400 kg for the side shift pin-type carriage. The new range of two-stage masts and extended range of pin- or hook-type carriages are available on the H8-12XM-6, H13-16XM-6 and H10XM-12 models.
The trucks feature Stage IV-compliant Cummins engines which produce lower emissions and offer excellent fuel economy, significantly reducing lifetime costs. They also feature performance optimisation features such as cooling on demand, load-sensing hydraulics (power on demand), RPM management and alternate engine idle speed to help further reduce the total fuel consumption in most tough applications.
Toyota 360 Support launched
Columbus, INToyota Material Handling USA (TMHU) has launched Toyota 360 Support to augment its two-year parts warranty (including labour).
Toyota 360 Support comes standard on every forklift and includes Toyota Genuine Parts, proprietary safety innovations, a four-hour emergency response time, the Toyota Service Request App and a key financing partnership with Toyota Industries Commercial Finance. The program is designed to decrease costs and increase uptime.
"This is a promise to our customers that Toyota and our dealers will always be there to deliver a superior product, superior service and the strongest dealer network in North America," says Bret Bruin, TMHU director of aftermarket operations. "Toyota 360 Support can really be summed up as the complete Toyota Forklift customer experience."
Toyota 360 Support Plus, an enhanced aftermarket program aimed at providing cost savings and budget management tools for customers, comes standard with a year of planned maintenance, carriage-to-counterweight coverage of up to three years/6,000 hours and five-year major component coverage.
