Linde Material Handling has launched a new pallet truck and compact double stackers which have been designed to manoeuvre in tight spaces, each measuring 1.7 m long and 720 mm wide, with the option to power by lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries.
The new Linde T16 L pedestrian pallet truck offers an ergonomic lift with controls on the tiller and on the sides of the truck allowing the forks to be raised to a maximum working height of 675 mm.
The Linde D08 M double stacker has a load capacity of 0.8 T. on the free lift and 1.0 T. on the initial lift with a lift height of 1.59 m. It also has a mono-mast which provides an extended view of the load and the truck’s surroundings.
All vehicles in the new double stacker series feature a five-point contact configuration with a centred drive wheel and are optionally equipped with an active foot protection guard to prevent injuries.
Linde Material Handling senior strategy and portfolio manager for warehouse trucks Marc Castro says of the new product releases: “In settings such as supermarkets, warehouses or production environments, space is almost always an issue”.
“The compact design of the new Linde double stackers offers a significant advantage for short- to medium-distance transportation, as well as for tasks such as truck loading and unloading, order picking, and the restocking of supermarket shelves.”
