New telehandler series
Redmond, WA, United StatesGenie has introduced the 6,000 lb. (2,722 kg) capacity GTH-636 telehandler, which offers the performance of a full-sized machine in a compact size.
With a maximum lifting height of 36 ft. (11 m) and a forward reach of 21 ft. 11 in. (6.6 m), the telehandler offers a maximum lifting capacity of 6,000 lb. ((2,722 kg). Its operating weight is 17,600 lb. (17,983 kg) and the machine provides an outside turning radius of 13 ft. 4 in. (4 m). The telehandler has a rugged chassis and boom, standard quick-attach and auxiliary hydraulics, a right-side mount engine and a new boom support for enhanced visibility.
"With the GTH-636 we took the best features of our 8,000 lb. (3,629 kg) telehandler and then created a whole new equation. We focused on maximising customer ROIC (return on invested capital)," says Chad Hislop, director of Terex AWP product management.
Battery chargers launched
Madison, WI, United StatesPower Designers USA LLC has launched a full line of high-efficiency modular battery chargers that it says save energy and cut costs.
The Revolution series charger comprises multiple 1.3kW power modules that can be combined to provide outputs from 4kW to 30kW. The charger has a compact design, allowing it to be installed anywhere within a warehouse, including mounted on a wall or rack. Their modular concept means the chargers offer multiple configuration capabilities.
According to Power Designers, the charger's unique modular architecture results in the simplest and fastest diagnosis and repair of the charger compared to other chargers in service today.
