Trelleborg launches Agro range

Trelleborg has launched the TH400 Trelleborg Agro industrial radial range of tyres for telehandlers, backhoes and mini-loaders in North America.
The tyre range has "advanced radial casing and (a) reinforced structure to ensure maximum stability, even when booms are fully extended".
According to Trelleborg, the tread pattern of the TH400 has been designed to maximise abrasion and wear resistance, boosting the overall strength and mileage of the tyres.

Available in 2-7 T capacities, diesel or LPG, the Hyster Fortens S4.0-5.5FT series forklifts have a compact frame and short wheelbase, and are suited to heavy-duty indoor applications like paper roll storage.
"With space at a premium, operation managers don't just have to consider lift capacity in terms of meeting the application needs, they must also consider the amount of space available for the forklifts to operate in," says brand manager Kate Pointeau.

GNB launches new battery

GNB Industrial Power, a division of Exide Technologies, has launched its new range of battery handling and management solutions known as Battery XTraction.
According to GNB, the new system offers warehouse and maintenance managers and fleet owners a safer way to handle batteries and lower operating costs, along with significant savings in space and time costs.
Battery XTraction can be tailored to suit customers' specific requirements.

Konecranes introduces fuel-saving feature

Konecranes has developed the Auto Start-Stop function for its forklifts in co-operation with Volvo Penta.
The new feature turns off the forklift's engine whenever it is idle for a period of time and restarts it automatically when needed, reducing fuel consumption.
It is available with selected Volvo3B/Tier4i engines, as well as with all coming stage 4/Tier 4f Volvo engines.
