Raymond Corp has added a Model 5500 order picker to its 5000 series order picker line.

The new model offers forklift users the choice of an AC order picker in 24 volts or 36 volts. It has a 3,000lb (1,361kg) load capacity and a maximum lift height of 366 inches (9.3 metres). The forklift is manufactured at the Greene, New York, plant for the US and international markets.

A new series of four-wheel electric counterbalanced forklifts, the 4700 Series, has replaced the DSD series introduced in 2002.

Available in load capacities from 3,000lbs to 6,000lbs (1,361kgs to 2,722kgs), the forklifts have a maximum lift height of 313 inches (7.95 metres).

The series, which is also manufactured at the Greene plant for the US and international markets, has Raymond's ACR System, offering AC-powered motors for lift and drive functions.

Cat Lift Trucks has introduced the ET3000-ET4000 series of AC-powered three-wheel forklifts.

The three models in the series have load capacities ranging from 3,000lbs to 4,000lbs (1,361kgs to 1,814kgs) and are made to handle uneven surfaces and trailer loading in demanding applications.

Loaded ET3000 and ET3500 trucks have maximum lift heights of 4.79 metres (188 inches) and 4.35 metres (171 inches) for the ET4000. A Cat Lift Trucks' spokesperson told Forkliftaction.com News the forklifts' manufacturing location and export markets were not available for release.
