Hyster shows solutions at Precast

The Precast Show is the largest precast-specific trade show in North America, featuring the industry's most important suppliers and foremost equipment experts under one roof.
Visitors at the Hyster booth can learn more about Hyster's solutions for challenging precast environments, lowering overall cost of ownership and understanding economical alternatives to costly repowering. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore first-hand the recently redesigned Hyster H360HD2, showcasing features specifically engineered for high capacity loads in tough outdoor operations.
The Hyster H190-360HD2 series features a recently redesigned mast and carriage. Lift chains and the mast inner channel have been modified to create a wider window through the carriage, providing greater visibility of fork tips at ground level and trailer height. The mast is now also mounted closer to the truck, allowing for a higher load capacity without a longer or heavier truck.

JLG shows SmartLoad
Anaheim, CA, United StatesJLG Industries featured its SmartLoad Technology at the recent ARA Show in Anaheim, California.
SmartLoad is an advanced bundle of three integrated technologies that work together to increase operator confidence and optimize productivity. The system includes automatic attachment recognition, a load management information system and a load stability indicator.
The automatic attachment recognition allows a telehandler to identify an attachment and display the appropriate load chart to the operator. The load management information system (LMIS) graphically depicts the location of the load within the load chart and assists the operator in navigating the boundaries of the chart. Finally, the load stability indicator (LSI) works in conjunction with the LMIS to limit operation when a load becomes non-compliant.
"Having access to real-time load data gives operators added confidence on the jobsite," said John Boehme, JLG senior product manager, telehandlers. "SmartLoad Technology can also save fleet owners from costly repairs that can occur when the machine is overloaded."
Currently available for its 1644 and 1732 high capacity telehandlers, SmartLoad Technology will be available as an option on all JLG telehandlers over the next 12 months.
