Mike Mathias as its new chairman. Mathias replaces
Richard Hayes of Brindley Lift Trucks, whose two-year term of office has seen continued growth and success.
Mathias has been managing director of Toyota Material Handling UK since 2007. He also holds managerial roles with Toyota in The Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. Besides being a board member of CFTS, he is a director of the British Industrial Truck Association, which joined forces with the Fork Lift Truck Association to create CFTS.
He brings with him a wealth of materials handling industry experience, spanning almost four decades.

Scott Brooks as manager, emerging technologies, east region. Brooks will manage the company's Convert to ElectricSM (C2ESM) program for the eastern part of the US. According to EnerSys, the C2ESM program is the first and only dedicated effort to help companies using internal combustion forklifts switch to electric fleets. Prior to joining EnerSys, Brooks spent 10 years in the materials handling industry. He handled national account sales for the motive power division of a large battery manufacturer, as well as a leading global forklift manufacturer. With the addition of Brooks, EnerSys now has three dedicated managers leading the C2ESM program.
