Steve Stewart, Crown Lift Trucks' managing director of UK operations, to its board. Stewart has over 20 years of experience in the materials handling industry and is the former president of the Australian Industrial Truck Association. He also sits on the board of British Industrial Truck Association, which, in collaboration with the Fork Lift Truck Association, established CFTS more than a decade ago.
Stewart says: "It's a privilege to be appointed to the board. CFTS plays a vital role within the materials handling industry, and is instrumental in ensuring forklifts are safe to operate."

Simon Watkins as sales manager. Watkins will head up the Chinese manufacturer's sales in the UK, Ireland and Europe. According to Detank UK managing director Lash Saranna, Watkins is highly skilled at bringing new products to market and, since 2010, has led growth and innovation for one of the UK's top dealerships.
Saranna says: "Detank has, in less than five years, proven itself within the highly competitive Chinese marketplace. Achieving this in Europe - against well-established international brands - requires trucks and backup that are up to the job. Manny Romero to maintenance manager for its Phoenix, Arizona warehouse location. Romero started with the company after graduating from Universal Technical Institute in Avondale, and has helped the Phoenix retail division grow significantly in his time with the company. Retail sales for the location have more than doubled between 2013 and 2014. As maintenance manager, Romero will oversee all maintenance, inspection, and painting of all forklifts stored in the Phoenix warehouse.
