Trelleborg Wheel Systems has introduced the Brawler range of large, off-the-road solid tyres.
The company says the latest addition to its range complements its existing premium tyres for materials handling applications and boosts the company's presence in the construction sector.
The Brawler range includes specialist tyres for the demanding environments in waste, recycling and underground mining.
Business development manager Roberto Zampieri says many customers in the waste and recycling industries are making the switch from either pneumatics or foam-filled pneumatics to solid tyres on large applications.

Kalmar introduces latest forklift to NA

Kalmar presented its latest forklift range to North American customers at the Breakbulk Americas 2013 exhibition on 23-26 September in New Orleans, USA.
The DCG90-180 range is part of Kalmar's new 'G' generation of counterbalance equipment, which was introduced to the European audiences in 2011.
Vice president for forklifts Thomas Malmborg says the company's experience in the European market gave it valuable feedback, enabling it to "further improve the product to meet the requirements [for] our North American customers".
