MCFA introduces order pickers

Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc (MCFA) has introduced the new Jungheinrich EKS208/308 series of mid- to high-level order pickers to the American market.
The forklifts come in a range of configurations and offer customers a choice of voltage and capacity configurations for their specific application.
The enhanced EKS 208, with load capacity up to 2,200 lb. (998 kg), is now available in 24-volt and 48-volt configurations.
The EKS 308 is now available in a 24-volt, 36-volt and 48-volt electrical system, with load capacities up to 3,000 lb. (1,361 kg).
Jungheinrich forklifts are distributed through MCFA's dealer network in North America. MCFA also manufactures Jungheinrich forklifts for distribution in the North American market.

TVH wins IAPA award

Forklift parts and accessories supplier TVH has received the Outstanding After Sales Award 2012 at the International Powered Access Awards held on 29 March in Rome.
The judges said of TVH: "The winner is an easy company to do business with. Its logistics organisation is amazing and now the access industry enjoys the same availability of parts and levels of service that forklift industries have had for years."
The judges included JLG vice president Wayne Lawson, Facelift managing director Gordon Leicester, NES Rentals CEO Andy Studdert, former global sales and marketing director of Snorkel Richard Tindale, and director of group fleet at Finnish rental giant Ramirent, Mikael Kämpe. The ceremony was attended by over 400 industry professionals.
