Ken Barina will replace Hiroshi Nagai as president of Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc (MCFA) from 1 April.
Barina started his materials handling career with Caterpillar in 1986, where he held marketing, product development and field sales management roles. He joined MCFA in July 1992, and has held a variety of administrative and general management roles. He was most recently vice president of corporate planning and services.
Nagai, who will return to a new assignment at MHI in Japan, served as MCFA president for two years.
Meanwhile, Kent Eudy has been promoted to executive vice president of sales and marketing at MCFA, reporting to Barina. Eudy began his materials handling career in 1981 with Caterpillar, and also joined MCFA in 1992.

London, United Kingdom
The United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) has extended the term of chairman John Maguire by a year. The association's chairman traditionally serves in the role for a period of two years. Maguire, who took up the position in July 2011, was due to hand over the reins this northern summer. However, he will continue until July 2014. He is also sales and marketing director of articulated forklift specialist Flexi Narrow Aisle Ltd.

Letchworth, United Kingdom
FB Chain Ltd has appointed John Wilson as its conveyor product manager for Ireland. Wilson, who will divide his time between the UK mainland and Ireland, will be responsible for developing sales of FB Chain's range of conveyor and transmission products that are used to drive conveyor systems in a variety of industries. He has a general engineering qualification and has been working with mechanical products for several years.
