The new EJC electric pedestrian-operated stacker |
Jungheinrich UK Ltd has launched the EJC 110/112/212 compact, electric pedestrian-operated stacker trucks that can lift up to 1.2 T to 4.7 m (15.4 ft.) high.
The manufacturer designed the truck to minimise downtime and for easy maintenance. If a wheel change is required, there is no need to lift the truck completely. The support wheel can be safely put in place by hand.
The ERE 120, a new pedestrian pallet truck, is also out on the European market. The new truck has "up to 8% more operating efficiency, and up to 15% lower energy consumption" than its predecessor.
With a stand-on platform, the truck can move loads up to 2 T. Its main application is the transport of goods over long distances in warehouses, as well as quick lorry loading and offloading.
The truck is produced at the Jungheinrich factory in Landsberg, Germany.
Separately, Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc (MCFA) has introduced the Jungheinrich EFG 2-5 series of three- and four-wheel electric counterbalance, pneumatic tyre forklifts. They are designed to work in a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications.
According to MCFA, "high performance, energy efficiency and operator comfort" were key factors in the design of the new EFG 213-220/316k-320, EFG 425k-430 and EFG 535-550 series of forklifts.
Through a manufacturing and distribution agreement, Jungheinrich forklifts are distributed through MCFA's dealer network in North America. MCFA also manufactures a number of Jungheinrich branded forklifts for the North American market.
