Heli Americas has named the GW Van Keppel Co as its authorised Heli dealer for portions of Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.

"GW Van Keppel's long-standing reputation in the materials handling industry strengthens both our company and our rapidly expanding dealer organisation," says Bruce Pelynio, president and chief executive officer of Memphis-based Dobbs Imports LLC, trading as Heli Americas.

Under an agreement, the Kansas City, Kansas-based Van Keppel dealership is responsible for the sale and aftermarket support of Heli products for the north-west and eastern portions of Missouri and several counties in eastern Kansas and Oklahoma, according to Pelynio.

Heli Americas covers 31 US states as the distributor of forklifts from Anhui Heli Co Ltd of Hefei, China.

Effective from 3 October, Van Keppel Co began representing the lines of Nissan Forklift Corp through locations in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Springfield, Missouri. From 1993 to 30 September 2010, Van Keppel had represented the Hyster brand of Nacco Materials Handling Group Inc (Forkliftaction.com News #486).
