Avon Freight expands
Burton-upon-Trent, United Kingdom

Palletforce member Avon Freight has increased its depot space, workforce and fleet after recording increased volumes.
The Redditch-based haulage firm says it has more than trebled its volumes in the last 18 months. As most of the increase came from volumes going through the Palletforce network, Avon Freight has transformed a 30,000 sqft. (2,787 sqm) storage unit into a dedicated Palletforce depot. It has hired a driver, warehouse operative and administrative clerk.
Avon Freight has also refurbished its only double-deck trailer, bought another one and hired a further two.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
