Chinese-headquartered technology and services company JingDong Industrials, also known as JD.com, has been named as Hangcha’s “key local partner” in Thailand.

A strategic partnership has been formalised between JingDong Industrials and both Hangcha Intelligent Technology and Hangcha Thailand to strengthen Hangcha’s supply chain in Thailand.

JingDong Industrials offers supply chain services and works with hundreds of Chinese firms overseas, including in Indonesia, Hungary, Thailand, and Brazil. Its says its Thai client base spans the manufacturing, automotive, electronics and metallurgy sectors.

Hangcha states: “Together, we aim to expand from Thailand into Southeast Asia and set a new benchmark for China’s global supply chain”.

Hangcha has been ambitiously expanding its footprint outside of China opening a new site in Malaysia, launching Hangcha Vietnam, opening its first Indonesian sales centre and breaking ground on a Thai manufacturing facility.
