Hangcha opens Indonesian sales centreChina’s second largest forklift manufacturer Hangcha has expanded its presence in South East Asia with the opening of subsidiary PT. Hangcha Indonesia.
The new site in Central Cakung, North Jakarta is the first for Hangcha in Indonesia and will be a sales and service centre for all of the archipelago.
Hangcha describes the opening as “a milestone which marks a significant step” in its ambitions to increase its footprint through the South East Asian Region.
“The opening of PT. Hangcha Indonesia Forklift is not just about expanding our business, but about bringing material handling solutions closer to our customers,” the company said in a statement.
“Hangcha Indonesia is ready to deliver energy-efficient and tailored forklift solutions.”
The opening ceremony, held this week, was attended by dealers and clients of Hangcha and included Hangcha Group general manager Jin Huashu and Hangcha Indonesia general manager Albert Leong.
Hangcha has been executing an expansion program for some time and in 2024, announced in would open a manufacturing facility in Thailand. This followed news in May the company was breaking ground on a new factory in China which will produce 10,000 units of automated equipment annually.
