Hangcha has established its presence in Vietnam for the first time, launching Hangcha Forklift Vietnam in the Dong Mai province.

The Chinese forklift and AGV manufacturer says Hangcha Vietnam is the second overseas rental platform established by the company this year following the opening of Hangcha Europe Rental & Sales in Paris in March.

“The new company supports Hangcha’s goal to grow locally, serve globally, and promote a smart, green industry in Southeast Asia,” Hangcha states.

Hangcha has shown its commitment to Southeast Asian expansion, in February opening its first Indonesian sales centre and in March breaking ground on a Thai manufacturing facility. 

Hangcha Forklift Vietnam will offer forklift sales and rentals, spare parts, lithium battery solutions, AGVs, and service support.

Zhang Shutong, Hangcha Group’s chief accountant, says Hangcha now has 18 overseas branches. 

“In 2024, we sold over 100,000 units overseas, with Southeast Asia leading the growth,” Shutong adds. “Vietnam has great potential with its open market and rising demand for equipment.”
