Robert O. Martichenko
American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) - United States
The American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) has named Robert O. Martichenko its new chairman of the board, replacing the organisation’s co-founder Mark E. Richards.
Martichenko, who has been an ALAN board member since 2019, spent 15 years as founder and CEO of LeanCor Supply Chain Group and co-founded employment company TrailPaths.
He is an award-winning author of five business books, multiple articles related to Lean, enterprise excellence, supply chain management and leadership, and one novel, Drift and Hum.
Martichenko has been the recipient of several industry awards, including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ Distinguished Service Award.
He is also a popular speaker and active participant on multiple advisory boards, including the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME).
“It is extremely humbling to step into Mark’s current role,” says Martichenko. “Both he and ALAN executive director Kathy Fulton are visionary leaders whose passion and work ethic have earned ALAN an upstanding reputation throughout the supply chain industry.
“I look forward to working side by side with them as ALAN continues to show how meaningful logistics is to the disaster relief community.”
Mark Stanton
ELOKON - United States
Automated forklift safety and fleet management system company ELOKON has promoted Mark Stanton to president and general manager for North America.
Alex B. Johns, ELOKON’s national sales director since 2021, will take over Stanton’s role as vice president of sales for the region.
Stanton joined ELOKON in May 2023, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the materials handling industry, extensive knowledge of forklift fleet management and forklift safety systems and an impressive track record of driving growth and innovation.
The company says during his eight-month tenure Stanton increased sales by 30% and doubled the size of the ELOKON team.
“We expected big things from Mark when we brought him on to lead our sales team in North America last May, and he most definitely delivered,” says
ELOKON chief executive Alexander Glasmacher.
“His extensive knowledge of forklift fleet management and safety systems, combined with strong leadership skills and an unparallelled strategic vision, has already resulted in higher sales and stronger employee morale. Mark is clearly the best person to run our growing business in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.”
