Brindha Pillay

DHL - Australia

DHL Supply Chain has named Brindha Pillay the new chief financial officer for Australia and New Zealand. 

Pillay will succeed Craig Roberts, who will relocate to a DHL role overseeing Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Pillay started her DHL career 15 years ago as Australia’s finance manager. Prior to her new role she was senior vice president, global head of accounting and process digitalisation finance at DHL.

Roberts, meanwhile, first joined the company in 1995 as a financial accountant in South Africa. He has held various chief financial officer positions in the Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions.

DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific chief financial officer Kwok-wai Lee says: “I have every confidence in Brindha’s abilities to step into the CFO role with her strong business acumen, developed in key finance roles both in Australia and internationally. 

“I have worked closely with Brindha and Craig over the years and have seen first-hand their excellent contributions to the DHL Supply Chain business.”

Christian Harm

Kion - Germany

Christian Harm will replace Marcus Wassenberg as Kion Group chief financial officer, the company has announced.

Wassenberg is leaving the company at his request, Kion said. 

Harm has more than 20 years of experience at Kion, including leading the procurement and strategy departments and serving as executive vice president of finance and operations. 

In 2021, Harm took responsibility for the finances of the group’s most profitable business, Kion ITS EMEA, as executive vice president finance. He will begin his new role immediately.

Kion Group chairman Hans Peter Ring says: “Harm has effectively managed strategically significant tasks of the company and held various leadership roles over many years. 

“He has demonstrated his ability to shape and implement complex projects of enterprise-wide importance. 

“We would like to express our gratitude to Marcus Wassenberg for his commitment and successful initiatives to increase the profitability of the group and drive forward the necessary processes. 

“At the same time, he has actively engaged in a trustworthy dialogue with the capital market. We regret his departure and wish him all the best for his future endeavours."

Gary Hornbacher

Bobcat - South Korea

Doosan Bobcat has appointed Gary Hornbacher as president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Hornbacher, who has worked for Doosan Bobcat for 36 years, will be based in Dobris in the Czech Republic where the company’s EMEA headquarters and manufacturing facilities are based.

Doosan Bobcat chief executive officer Scott Park says: "Gary’s previous experience as senior vice president commercial in the EMEA region coupled with his diverse background with Bobcat positions him to effectively drive forward our strategic vision and motto – we empower people to accomplish more."

Hornbacher has experience in sales and marketing, product management, strategy and quality management.
