Almac has appointed Oana Samoila as export area manager.
Samoila joins the company from low-level MEWP manufacturer Bravi Platforms, where she previously worked for 15 months as a sales and marketing specialist, while serving as area manager for Italy, UK, Spain and Portugal.
Samoila will be based in Italy and will be taking on sales responsibilities for the management of Almac's products in Italy and the UK with the goal to expand the business and relationships in those countries, while working in cooperation with the existing networks and locally based country sales managers, such as Malcolm Kitt in the UK.

Cosentino has extensive experience in management, private equity and as a board member of numerous companies, many of which are precision manufacturing companies serving industrial markets.
Cosentino is currently vice chairman and lead director at Sturm Ruger & Co, chairman at Habco Industries, and a director at Simonds International.

Shoppa's Material Handling has named Cary Hill as chief operations officer. He will be responsible for the company's overall strategy and lead the operations, accounting and finance, information technology (IT) and human resources (HR) departments.
The major organisational announcement was driven by the company vision and adapting to customers' challenges across applications with advances in forklift technology, automated solutions, warehouse products and Toyota Lean Management consultation.
Hill was most recently chief executive officer for MESA, a leading provider of products and services for corrosion control and pipeline integrity. Prior to becoming CEO, he held various roles including CFO and COO. He has also held other top-level positions at the Oklahoma Quality Foundation, Cisco-Eagle and Six Disciplines.
