Irvine, CA, United StatesToyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Inc (TIEM), the Columbus, Indiana plant that makes most of the Toyota forklifts sold in the US, has appointed two new vice presidents. Tom DePalma is vice president of quality assurance for TIEM and for Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA). Tim Barker is vice president of corporate services for TIEM and Toyota Industries North America Inc (TINA).
DePalma has been in the materials handling business for nearly 30 years. He has worked at Clark Material Handling Company and NACCO Materials Handling Group Inc. Prior to his new role at Toyota, he was senior manager, quality assurance for TIEM and quality leader for TMHNA.
Barker joined TIEM in 1990. Prior to his new role, he was senior manager of corporate services for TIEM and senior manager of human resources for TINA.
Mississauga, CanadaHydraux Manufacturing Ltd has appointed Ivan Gramatikov as manager of engineering. Gramatikov has 20 years' experience in the European materials handling industry. Before joining Hydraux, he worked on new product development of mechanical and hydraulic systems for Raymond and Toyota forklifts at Raymond Corp. Hydraux manufactures standard and custom forklift attachments at its Mississauga facility.
