The customer service centre will further boost service quality for Linde MH's Asia Pacific customers. |
Linde (China) has opened Linde Material Handling's second customer service centre, which will mainly serve the Asia Pacific region.
The customer service centre also serves as a global spare parts centre. It will supply spare parts for Linde products manufactured in Europe to the Asia Pacific region, as well as spare parts for products manufactured at Linde (China) in Xiamen to the Asia Pacific, Africa and South America.
In his opening speech last month, Linde MH vice president of customer services, Massimiliano Sammartano said: "The new spare parts centre is an important step in expanding the worldwide service network of Linde Material Handling. It will increase spare parts availability and, at the same time, reduce delivery times."
Sammartano added that with a second customer service centre, Linde MH will further boost its service quality and customer services solutions for its Asia Pacific customers.
After a tree-planting ceremony held at Linde (China)'s Xiamen headquarters, Sammartano, Xie Dean and Jens Splittgerber, the vice presidents of Linde (China), service director Huang Yuanqing and Linde (China) manager Uwe Vetter were given a tour of the spare parts warehouse.
The warehouse is operated by C&D Logistics, a logistics provider that also provides other logistics services to Linde (China). Linde and C&D held discussions regarding the operation and development strategy of Linde (China)' s global spare parts centre after the warehouse tour.
