Terex scoops two prizes at awards
Rotterdam, Netherlands and Düsseldorf, GermanyTerex Port Solutions has been recognized in two categories of this year's awards presented by specialist magazine International Bulk Journal (IBJ).
Terex won the Crane of the Year award for its Quaymate M50 mobile harbour crane that was launched in the northern spring of 2014.
In addition, Dr Mathias Dobner, vice president of development, engineering and operation at Terex, was named Personality of the Year.
IBJ has presented the awards since 2009. According to Terex, the awards are some of the most sought-after prizes in the bulk materials handling market.
AUSA dealer marks anniversary
Regensdorf, Switzerland Bamag Maschinen AG celebrated its 15th anniversary from 13 to 15 November by inviting over 130 guests to a jubilee dinner.
Founded by Ruedi Meier in 1999, Bamag took over the importation of Hyundai Construction Machines, and Kalmar and Nissan forklifts for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. In 2006, AUSA and Bamag signed an importation agreement.
AUSA commercial director Josep Soler says that finding the correct importer was no easy task. "But now, looking back, we can affirm that Bamag has been the correct choice. Right now, our Swiss market position is stronger than ever before, and the success of this [partnership] has been based on a wide product range, reliable service, proper marketing and commercial strategies and adapting the product to the Swiss demands, which are radically different to those ones that we find in other European markets."
Heilan celebrates 100th Linde
Jiangyin City, ChinaA ceremony has been held to mark the 100th Linde truck delivery to Heilan Group.
Heilan Group director Judi Zhang, minister of transport management Jinhu Chen, president of Linde (China) Chingpong Quek and Linde general manager of Jiangsu and Anhui region Tao Chen attended the event.
Heilan started collaborating with Linde (China) in 2006. Today, the company has over a hundred Linde forklifts that are used in all of its business units, including Heilan Home, Ichitoo and Heiland Equestrian.
According to Linde (China), Heilan Group, founded in 1988, is one of China's largest producers of high-end men's apparel. It is the only enterprise in the Chinese garment industry that has been certified by the Ministry of Science and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
