Forklift manufacturer Hyster has released three new models, which the company says feature improved design and performance.
The new counterbalanced sit-down rider models of the cushion-tyre S25-40XMS series have compact 2500-4000-pound (1125-1800kg) capacities.
The truck has a liquid-propane-gas engine and an isolated operator compartment.
Tapered roller bearings and heavy-duty integral sideshifts help provide load stability and maximum lifting capacities at all heights.
The evolution of the R30XMS2 order picker has led to a design with fewer parts.
Using a cantilevered overhead guard with a Vista mast, the forklift can select multiple cases or a single item on low-to-medium-height shelves up to 20 feet (6 metres).
A Control Area Network (CANbus) electrical system reduces wiring and boosts reliability.
Hyster's new H170-360HD series of heavy-duty pneumatic forklifts is available in nine power categories, ranging from 17,000-36,000 pounds (7650-16,200kg).
A ComforCab II operator compartment, which reduces shock and vibration, is optional, and a side-tilting version permits simple access to major components for maintenance.
For load control, Hyster offers new electro-proportional hydraulics with level controls or an optional joystick.
The series is available with a Perkins 1106.60 or Cummins 6 BT 5.9 turbocharged diesel engine.
Greenville-based Hyster produces more than 130 forklift models and is a division of Nacco Materials Handling Group Inc.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
