Chinese forklift maker HELI has marked the 20th anniversary of its listing on the Shanghai stock market.
Anhui HELI Co., Ltd was officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on October 9, 1996, becoming the first listed Chinese forklift company.
The anniversary was marked at the Hefei headquarters, with president Dejin Zhang noting: "HELI is sailing again from a new start, moving forward to build an international first-class modern enterprise ... and becoming a respected enterprise."
Qingfeng Ma, HELI chief engineer, told staff and guests that HELI will focus on "further consolidating the advantages of internal combustion engine products, completing electric and warehouse product series, accelerating the development of new energy, intelligent, middle and high-end products while developing international markets and products (to) suit ... clients from emerging markets, such as North America, Europe, South East Asia and so on".
During the celebrations, HELI announced a series of phased objectives including new product releases, the official launch of its e-commerce platform and new Android and Apple apps.
Today, HELI offers more than 1,700 models and 500 types of products, sold in more than 150 countries and regions.
