Mezzanine manufacturer Davicon at Brierley Hill was faced with a challenge when looking for a forklift that could lift up to 11 m (36 ft.).
The company, which designs, manufactures and installs mezzanine floors for large companies including British Gas, BMW and John Lewis, turned to McLeman Forklift Services, a division of Linde Forklift Truck Hire for help.
Linde Forklift Truck Hire boasts one of the largest forklift fleets in the UK and is able to help with more complex specifications.
Ian Priest, project manager at Davicon, says the trucks from McLeman enabled his colleagues to unload lorries and lift steel structures. "[This] sometimes can mean lifts up to 11 m (36 ft.). The availability of this type of machine on hire for either long or short periods is imperative to our business."

Linde Forklift Truck Hire has over 10,000 trucks available for hire. Its rental fleet ranges from pallet trucks right up to counterbalance trucks with capacities of 52 T.
