Systems Material Handling Company (SMH) of Olathe, Kansas, USA, and TVH Forklift Parts (TVH) of Gullegem, Belgium, have entered into a merger/acquisition, uniting their companies.

Both companies are manufacturers and distributors of OEM and aftermarket parts and products for forklift trucks and industrial equipment. Neither company would comment further on details of the merger.

SMH and TVH are leaders on their respective continents and in international markets. SMH has branches in California, Canada and Mexico. TVH has branches in France, England, South Africa, Ukraine, Malaysia and Australia.

"This collaboration of the companies offers a strong strategic world distribution network to their industries," said a joint statement, released to Forkliftaction.com News. "Both companies provide enhanced purchasing solutions and materials management to offer the most complete and largest offering of parts and products for forklift trucks in the world."

Management of both companies remains in place and each company will function independently in their respective markets.
